Lok Sabha Parliament security breach update: There are a total of four accused associated with the Parliament attack. Two had entered the Parliament building while two were creating a ruckus outside, all of them have been caught and arrested. He is being questioned at the Parliament Street police station. The Lok Sabha Speaker will chair the all-party meeting. At present, the visitors' gallery pass has been banned. The House will reconvene on Thursday.

New Delhi. Twenty-two years after the 2001 Parliament attack,


 a major lapse has come to light in the Lok Sabha on its anniversary today. During the proceedings of Parliament on Wednesday, two people jumped from the visitors' gallery inside the House and spread smoke, after which the proceedings had to be suddenly adjourned till 2 pm. Both the accused were arrested soon after the incident. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla said that the Lok Sabha is conducting an inquiry at its own level and the Delhi Police has also been instructed in this regard. Additionally, he claimed that there was no need for concern because the smoke that was dispersed around the House was typical. The Lok Sabha Speaker will chair an all-party meeting at 4 pm. The visitors' gallery pass is currently suspended.


Birla also said that both the people who jumped into the House have been caught and all the material has been seized from them and two people who were protesting outside the Parliament House have also been caught. During the Zero Hour in the House, at around 1 pm, two persons jumped into the House from the visitors' gallery and one of them was running forward, jumping from one table to the next. He was surrounded by security personnel and some MPs. Both were later arrested. Rajendra Agarwal, the presiding chairman, delayed the meeting to 2:00 pm.

As soon as the House met for the day at 2 pm, Birla said, "The Lok Sabha is conducting a thorough inquiry at its level into the incident that took place during Zero Hour. The Delhi government has issued an order in this regard. Initial investigation revealed that it was a simple smoke. It's not a matter of concern.’’ Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury and several members expressed concern over the security lapse. "We felt as if one person fell down," Agarwal, who was presiding over the meeting at the time of the incident, told PTI in the Parliament House complex. And then I saw a man running. Then I realized that both of them were jumping. A man took something out of his shoes and spread the smoke. They were subsequently arrested.’’

MP Danish Ali said that one person's pass was found to be Sagar and he had come as a guest of Mysuru MP Pratap Sinha.
